FEBRUARY 24, 2025 I saved an article I had seen on Bob Seger from an interview he did with Timothy White from Rolling Stone in May of 1980.   

Why did I save this?  I've been a fan of Bob Seger for as long as I can remember.  It's a Michigan thing.  But this quote hit hard.

It talks about how people who weather storms in their lives can find strength and maintain relationships.  

I remember saving this and how it made me feel at the time. My wife and I have weathered the storms and our relationship has stood strong throughout those storms. 

 "I  always say it’s human nature that people are gonna love you sometimes  and they’re gonna use you sometimes. Knowing the difference between when  people are using you and when people truly care about you, that’s what  ‘Against the Wind‘ is all about. The people in that song have weathered  the storm, and it’s made them much better that they’ve been able to do  it and maintain whatever relationship.
